Our foray into art, literature, music and the rebels that make it continues in the basement of Carruthers Hall. This week we went from Manitoba to Sweden and back again for parts of our musical interlude. Along with an AI guest, Sayyida and scott had a chitchat about Montreal’s Anarchist Book fair and some of the fun zines and art they encountered (not scott though, he spent his weekend…well, not in Montreal). No video this time around, though we do have a couple of photos and links to keep you amused.
Stay cool,

Audible Insurrections entered the radiosphere this week with rebellious intentions on our minds. Aside from scott getting our title wrong a couple of times, the show went into the world as we’d hoped. A little teenage funk, the highpriestess of soul, and the pope all made an appearance in one way or another. In 40 minutes we traveled from a high school auditorium to the streets of Havana. Though radio can radically alter your field of vision, your dreams of better days, sometimes you just need to watch a little TV–so we’ve embedded Las Krudas’ video for La Gorda, enjoy!
OK, press play, sit back and enjoy the inaugural edition of AI.
